PETA – we love you

Mid-morning beach walk with Belle and Susan — endlessly wonderful.
Once again, Belle demonstrating another version of yesterday’s lesson about guidance from the universe.
My little dog is such a pro at chasing sticks and frisbees, that somehow she’s now confused by tennis balls. She’ll run after one for a second — almost as a favor to me — but then lose interest, jumping up and down waiting for me to produce the frisbee or the stick (ie, the “real” game).
What a metaphor for not quite getting that life is offering us the very essence of what we want — in a slightly unexpected format — and rejecting it out of hand.
SPECTACULAR meeting with PETA in Oakland for UPWARD DOG promotions yesterday.  Like a workaholic’s Christmas morning, they just kept coming up with promotional possibility after promotional possibility.  Truly enamored with the PETA team.  Belle was, too, demonstrating this by tearing apart another dog in the office’s toy while the rest of us discussed marketing on speaker phone.

Home and lovely dinner at Cafe Divine with Belle, although I was VERY confused by some SF health tax;  it was only $2.42 and my waiter seemed annoyed at my questioning it — but given that my day was so spectacular — seemed wisest to let it all go, Belle-style.
Once Home, watched ANTM and then lots of other CW-style TV with some classy great MODERN FAMILY as well.  Then some Kathy Griffin.  And then, pre-bed, a little G.I. Joe to check out JG-L.
Somehow all of this viewing took me until 1:11 am, sleepy and happy.
