A day or so ago, I finally downloaded WORDS WITH FRIENDS and almost instantly my friend Brandin found me and started a game.
Then I logged into Facebook and another friend found me –- Sophie Chiche who did our INTERVIEW for her great site LIFE BY ME –– followed by Val last night when I mentioned I was playing as she and Belle and Susan and I had dinner.
So right now I have three games going and when I open the app, they are all listed under “Their Move.”
That often feels like the story of my life as an Emotional Projector –– especially with Mercury Retrograde. It’s all about waiting for “Their Move.”
Waiting on foreign sales for UPWARD DOG. Waiting for a response about the novel. Waiting to reschedule Acre’s next class. Waiting to set up the next set of lessons with one private client. Waiting to set up a date for the SF Yale Club event. Waiting for CreateSpace to approve a proof for me of a spec galley. Waiting for a David Neagle recording that simply will not download correctly (even though their usually excellent support doesn’t quite believe me.) Even waiting for my gallery show in January 2013 … And right now, waiting until Staples opens tomorrow morning at 8 am so I can buy more ink to print the labels for the batches of DVDs I sold last week.
And of course waiting for myself to finish the screenplay.
[OK –– I guess that’s MY move … sigh]
