First Yale, Then HootSuite

So I’m going to graduate school (sorta).
I’ve decided to opt-in to the HootSuite University (free for my trial period and then $30 a month afterward) because well, there’s just no fighting this social media thing.
I feel both early and late to the party –– and I keep fantasizing about an intern who can “just do all this for me” –– but I now believe I have to really spend a little time digging in to set up the models for this imaginary intern, plus I’ll have to Keep It Real with actual updates happening in the moment.
In some ways, it’s comforting though, to be enrolled in an institution, albeit one where the tuition is free/$30 monthly and has only 10 hours of coursework before I get certified.
But honestly, all of that feels just about right –– 1) I should be able to completely master social media in ten hours and 2) that price seems spot-on.
I mean, it’s not Med School, we’re talking about.
[Plus I have a thing for Owls.  They had me at the logo.]
