Who Knew?

That Freud and Jung were very funny.
At least they are in THE COUCH starring my friend Courtney Walsh.
It was heartening to the new play I’m writing, when tonight as the Artistic Director made her short curtain speech about turning cell phones off and said that the play was very funny and the woman behind me said aloud, “Oh Good!” –– which was just what I was thinking.
It was just so simple and primitive a response –– Yes, a Comedy! –– but the perfect thing for me to hear as I’m dutifully working on the play in bits and spurts  (but quite consistently day by day).
And in other news, as I have gone through 275 pages of the novel’s 375 pages, approving countless deleting of one space after every period rather than two, I also realized that I hadn’t added a short bio to the book.
I was struggling with it because I wanted it to have that standard book jacket terseness, but when a Face Place friend posted the resurrected link for gizgoogle  I new I had my answer.
[It basically allows you to google anything and translates the language in gangsta speak.]
I gizgoogled myself and came up all the usual things, my favorite being a re-iteration of an interview I did a few years ago for Dana Rock’s site –– and you can read the original HERE –– but perhaps  can excerpt this for my bio (plus here’s a little of the interview, too).
Who knew my life was so colorful and vivid!
