When in Doubt, Gaultier

This morning –– an abbreviated Bikram class with Jennifer –– because I had an uncanny sense that if I showed up at the DMV at 10:40 there would be no line.
And that was totally true.  I got my number and within 3 minutes I was being waited on (I guess they don’t “wait on you” but I was in front of a clerk getting my parking pass renewed.)
Client call and bank errands in preparation for the trip.
Failure to get the new option agreements notarized because I didn’t have the copyright numbers in front of me.
Trip to Cavallo Point to sign the books for my Saturday signing –– since I will be en route to Alaska, Sarah Herrington is standing in, although Belle is the true start.
And since Sarah’s flight was reconfigured, I had 2.5 hours free and so I took Belle for a mini beach walk and then used my ticket for the last day of the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit at the De Young.
A bit too crowded for me and Belle –- Friday night event on last day of exhibit –– but truly inspiring and entertaining and awesome.
(But to be perfectly clear, however enthralled I am at JPG,  I still draw the line at getting Belle a bustier.)
