Walking On The Moon

I really like this picture I took today of Belle on our beach walk — it feels very lunar voyage.  More about that tomorrow.
I also love the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.  It feels like the most chill day of the year.
Morning skyping to India to get the Facebook page revved up for UPWARD DOG.
Email from my hostess Courtney in the morning confirming that I could bring Belle, and that I could steam broccoli on site (previous emails to the 18 guests indicated that food should be ready to serve.)
Whole Foods with Susan to buy said broccoli, along with some parsley as per Martha Stewart — who really knows her stuff.
Evocative Call right before.   Thank God Susan and I were shopping so she could explain to me was just male/female communication issues I had somehow been exempt from in a while (lots of explanation and restatement of feelings from multiple angles after I’d already agreed from the start).  Sometimes I wonder if I should just always send flowers…
My quest for a decent hot springs continues.  Went to a place on Broadway and Van Ness that was just plain sad.  (sigh).
Worked at the Hipster Office Space followed by Jasmine‘s class.  Then a moment visiting young Jonah, a consolidation of cars, dinner at Hillstone, complete with a visit from Yofe who brought dosas for us Susan had been craving.
Home — and in all honesty — exhausted and felt like sleeping at 9:30 but forced myself to stay awake, walk Belle, grab a Malbec at Don Pisto’s (Thank you, Kate) so Belle would not wake me at 3 or 4 am (which has happened twice this week.)
It worked perfectly — we both slept like angels.
