Thursday was a total recovery day (from my empathetic perspective) from the Goddess Collective event.
Susan and my beach walk involved incredibly intense weather and two extended dog encounters with a Vizsla named Tosca and a Labradoodle named Joey, both of whom would not leave Belle and her magical stick alone.  It was a particularly muddy day for me. Long ago, I learned that shorts were necessary — my legs get splashed and covered with mud — and that a nylon outer jacket is required as well whenever we walk, no matter what the weather.
To illustrate, since this was my state afterward, I found it essential that I enjoy a soak at the spa just to get clean and warm again.
Less writing of scenes than I would have liked yesterday, but still lots of other creative/marketing work in process.
[I do have certain days where I just decide “let’s just do it” and write to anyone — and I’ve been like that all week.]
Soon, I’m going to take Belle out to Don Pistos, less for my nightcap and more so I can get her a hamburguesa of her own.  Today, I really believe she did close the deal on my newest yoga client in SF — the secretary to my first client — because Belle is so beloved at the firm that she’s requested when I teach.  [In other words, the yoga is sort of an add-on;  people are willing to pay my teaching fees “just” to spend time with Belle — and who can blame them, I know I would.]
Finally, amongst all the wonderful books in the cottage, I recently found a deck of Inner Child Cards.  I’ve drawn them a few times, often coming up with the Seven of Swords.  From the guidebook:  “The symbols in this card represent study, enlightenment, and communication” and “Activities like reading books, writing papers, and exploring your imagination are enhanced.”
And honestly, doesn’t my view remind you a bit of the young scholar’s as he begins “the task of unraveling sacred knowledge” or in my case, completing his yoga-based screenplay?
