Home, Home at La Grainne

Today I had my second meeting at La Grainne which Belle and I both love.
The day began, however at Bosie, my friends Nicky and Kiley’s tea parlor in the West Village, with breakfast with Sarah Herrington (an awesome red-haired poet/yoga teacher).  Sarah is fantastic and so is Bosie — I am determined that it will be my NYC hangout place whenever I’m in town.
Several phone calls and emails about the “lost canvases” (of course.)
Afternoon meeting with my brilliant and delightful publicist Laura at La Grainne.  Feeling extremely stoked about the book release this fall.
Ending the day with an awesome yoga class with Tara Stiles, one of the first generous endorsers of UPWARD DOG.  Tara is fantastic in every way and I loved the studio, her class, and her.  Ice tea afterwards with Tara and her husband Michael Taylor and then a walk home in the drizzly rain towards Belle.
Among the day’s highlights:  after letting Jasmine know I’ll be in San Francisco starting next week, I’m already teaching two classes at the Laughing Lotus.  There’s nothing like knowing that there’s some work ahead for you, waiting for your arrival!
Can’t believe that tomorrow we leave for California.  I will miss the rain.
Photos below:  Sarah thinking poetic thoughts & Tara thinking yoga ones (at Strala).  I do not have a photo of my blonde publicist Laura, but I now realize this beautiful red, blonde, and brunette trio is a Charlie’s Angels of amazing NYC yoga ladies.
