Happiness Is In The Mirror

At least I think that’s what the owner Bev of the Bikram studio said today (I can’t be sure because of the heat exhaustion, you know).
Today was insanely productive, largely because I really simplified things
I made a list of the five most powerful things I could do, and then –– after 14 minutes of jump rope alongside Val –– did them all.
This is still in progress, but fine-tuning the date of our June 5th, 6th or 7th book signing at the super-cute pet store in SF, Bow Wow Meox.
Then I set the date for the Yale Club Yoga For Suits event, remembering that although it seems logical to say, “I’m free anytime!!!!” it actually results in decision paralysis.  Once I said, “let’s do it on this date or this one” within 20 minutes we had everything fall into place.  [Father’s Date, June 17th, 4 to 6 pm … details to come.]
Spoke to the agent for Upward Dog and it turns out we’ll be at the New York Book Fair June 5 – 7 (the exact same dates as our signing event choices) which is exciting as I am LIVING for foreign sales.
And everyone loves the new cover image for foreign sales that Susan shot:

And had an AWESOME conversation with Lisa Rothstein (from the David Neagle Miracle of Money group) who totally inspired the next level of biz-promotion I’m going to execute tomorrow.
Photo shoot midway through my fitness program with Cody, who bravely accompanied me to his first ever Bikram class and performed valiantly.
Dinner with Susan and Belle at Plant to recant our days.
And now — thorough exhausted — decided between the third SHERLOCK on PBS or watching THE DESCENDENTS before it expires from my itunes rental … or just collapsing since tomorrow is just as jam-packed.
And going to keep meditating a bit more on “Happiness Is In The Mirror” — which is a particularly useful thought when you spend 90 minutes a day staring at yourself in one!
