  1. Dear, dear Edward Vilga ~ You are my plot twist this morning. Anguished. Lost in myself. That’s how I awakened. Fed my tuxedo cat, Earl Snyder, made my first Nespresso and read/listened to your magnificent “plot twist” message. I am in the middle of another cross-country move. This time from CA to NY. Always with too much stuff and too little money. Plus the ashes of my husband, Charles Pfahl, the ashes of my buddha cat The Duke, and a little lost black LA cat named Kitsch, also now ashes. Bleak it felt till your words hit me like bricks. Gentle bricks. Thank you so much for your beautiful words, for Vlad, for Belle, for change. I see my life differently in this moment. Rather the way Vlad must have when he saw his image at eye-level (plus the artwork that was just for him). His plot had magically twisted in his favor. Life would be forever good. Love at last. A two-way street. This is to thank you. I am breathing and wanting to right now. (And I had a memory from many years ago. Not expecting you to remember, and it had nothing to do with me. Two close friends (no longer here) Richard (Rick) Northcutt and Larry Taylor (NYC upper westside) would often speak of “Eddie” ~ “Eddie this and Eddie that.” I asked once for the last name. They said “Vilga”! Wonder if you remember them. Doesn’t matter, of course, and maybe it does. Thank you again. What a help you’ve been. And now I am crying. So many losses and so many gains. And oh the number of plot twists.
