And by that I mean, Belle stopped by Bikram today.
I realized –– mid-morning –- that I must have forgotten my soaking wet trunks at the studio after last night’s 4:30 – 6 pm class.
And that they were in a little plastic bag.
And thus fermenting.
And so, Belle and I swung by to pick them up before today’s 4:30, and I got to show her the literally SINGLE PLACE ON EARTH I don’t take her with me –– well, maybe the hot springs/spa, too.
Belle had several fans there, ranging from the owner Bev to Jennifer, and I tried to explain why she wasn’t going to be allowed into the 110 degree studio room.
We were, in fact, heading off to the beach since I felt we both needed a walk given all the events of the day.
Most significantly, a brief but intense conference with my Amazing Producer Sarah and my Literary Agent Beth to officially introduce them and coordinate submitting the novel to publishers and the script to movie stars … like on Thursday of this week.
It’s both exciting and kinda terrifying –- my Bravo reality-show, speaking to the camera “Everything Is On the Line” moment –– and thus, I’ve made a conscious decision to:
1. Intensely plunge into writing new material [to keep the energy flowing, and turn the focus on creative expansion], and simultaneously ––
2. Max out on all possible floatation tank, yoga, massage, and spa experiences.
Now’s the time, friend.
[And FYI, although Belle is, of course, the ultimate Celebrity Guest, let’s face it: only Heather Locklear comes in a close second.]
