Taught at the Lotus at 9 am.  A miracle of parking:  a space directly in front of the studio.
Thus I felt comfortable asking the dog-loving front-desk karmi if she would mind watching Belle while I taught, knowing she could instantly be returned to the car if she caused a ruckus.  Belle, however, was perfect — only needing once to move closer to the door to hear my voice — but utterly well-behaved and silent.  Such an auspicious beginning to the day.
Lunch at the Beach with Susan and Belle (along with a shared cupcake) and then another spectacular walk.  Do people know how beautiful San Francisco is, I wonder — why doesn’t everyone live here?
An extensive nap period and then dinner at Val and Clark’s.  New friend Trella created an unbelievable create your own sushi buffet.  Truly incredible.
Delightful conversations with all, including Natalie, about life and love and travel and new beginnings.
And then a group decorated cake to celebrate my arrival in SF.
For me, nothing could be more perfect than a welcoming dinner party with cake — NOTHING!
