Technically, Chef Huascar Aquino won the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars, the first New Yorker to do so. (The episode is here).
But I feel like I won the Cupcake War personally, after last night.
After a grueling week I thought I deserved a cupcake from his H Bake Shop around the corner from my apartment but in an unpleasant moment that’s now been erased from my mind with a SWEET memory, for one reason or another, it didn’t happen.
After I complained, Chef Aquino was beyond responsive, delivering not only a sincere apology but a half-dozen cupcakes personally after he closed up shop.
From the photo you can tell that they are visually quite beautiful but let me assure you they are DELICIOUS and ORGANIC as well.
Contemplating doubling my cardio so I can partake more often without guilt!
