I love what Brian wrote about looking forward to seeing Belle every morning when we get our coffee. And it’s all true … she is thrilled whenever she sees him.
I am deep, deep into watching REVENGE on Hulu. I don’t believe in “guilty pleasures” but it IS a guilty pleasure.
My worldview has shifted in that I now feel I am somehow doing EVERYTHING wrong by not actively blackmailing a bunch of people. I can’t figure out how I’ve so miscalculated my strategies to succeed in life … (sigh)
Beyond Belle’s triumph in her latest blog –– and her book is off to London next month for the London Book Fair (fingers crossed for lots of foreign sales) –– I am so excited and enlivened by my CREATIVE CONSULTING bizness. Awesome conversation tonight with someone I really want to work with, and while this is apparently not as wise as a blackmail strategy, I’m thrilled nonetheless.
This, including a super-fun private yoga client session today, and the fact that my producer LOVED my first 25 pages, gives me hope.
(But again, according to ABC, I really should find someone prominent to blackmail if I really want to succeed in life.)

Yes, it was an awesome conversation, Edward, you playful provocateur, and the feeling is mutual. I still haven’t had the “I’m spending some money, dear,” conversation with my husband, but that will happen shortly, and I expect it will go well. Then we’re good to go, because I’m ON BOARD!
