And by that I mean my new sunglasses, which are amazing.
I’ve been limping along with a $5 pair I bought in a thrift store on the way to the wine country with Adrian in February when I realized I needed to do SOMETHING.
But today my new Warby Parker pair arrived and it’s, quite frankly, a total game-changer.
First, the company has a thing where they donate a pair for every pair you buy (which is certainly very nice) but what’s kind of amazing is that you pick out five pairs online and they mail them to you –– all for free –– and then you can show them to everyone you’ve ever met for their opinions.
Fortunately, in my case, Susan, Val, Valerie 2, Clark, and Brian –– from Acre –– all agreed that the Spencer style in tortoise were the undisputed champion look for me.
[Note: the model in the featured image above is wearing them in Midnight Blue.]
I love them.
I even love the solid grey case they come in.
And I’m now committed to guarding them with my life.
In fact, it’s my top priority.
I did do a lot of things I had to do today, but I realized I’m still dragging my heels a bit on the script. You might say that it’s a necessary creative hibernation period, where things develop and are then brilliantly released … or you could say I’m procrastinating for obvious subconscious reasons [IE, this is going to the #1 star in the world as soon as I’m done.]
But now that I have my Warby Parkers, honestly there’s no stopping me.
And the second I finish typing this sentence, I’m doing a “save as” of the script with today’s date and plunging right in, another clear victory in sight.
