Love Letters (In The Sand)

Today, I sorta –– more or less –– took off.
I did manage to re-adjust my scanner and complete the forms my accountant needed.
And I cleared 2.4 mysterious gigs on my iPhone (a weird tip on askdifferent worked).
But then I drove off to the Marin Mini Dealership to see if I had won the $30,000 giveaway –– which oddly, I had not –– and took Belle to the beach.
There we saw this drawing on the sand and this is the last possible picture of it;  2 seconds after I took it, my little dog joyfully trampled it out of existence during our game of fetch.
Mostly, though I completed a letter writing project that I’ve decided to write about in my newsletter for tomorrow.
I did this post this truthful yet ironic comment about it on The Face Place:

You know you’re really a writer when (as a spiritual releasing exercise) you write the apology/acknowledgment letter someone in your past should send you –– a letter that seems extraordinarily unlikely that the real person will ever write –– and then you spend another hour editing it so it’s totally perfect, before you sign their name and pop it in the mail to yourself.

And a bunch of people Liked and Commented.
Anyway, I hope you’re on my mailing list as tomorrow, I’ll be sharing more about this curious and amazing process (the letter writing one, not love letters in the sand.)
