I really am manifesting perfect opportunities to practice all my Cruise Re-Acquired Wisdom.
Within 15 minutes of each other today, I received an email from a disgruntled former vendor niggling over a vague transaction over a project –– the SPECIFICALLY NEGATIVE –– and then via Susan, a tremendous possibility that’s still unformed but only only would give it new life, it actually approaches the Holy Grail via the same project –– ie, the GENERALLY POSITIVE.
Abraham’s quote was that most people prefer to dwell on the specifically negative rather than the generally positive is just so true, largely I suppose, because there’s so much more drama there.
It’s so much easier to dwell on writing, or even just contemplating, the response email than it is to simply delight in the vague possibilities that might materialize from the potential triumph. And this is true even though one amount is under a thousand dollars and the other is well … dozens if not hundreds of times more potentially.
Having a little technique under my belt, I was able to go to a more generally negative view about the former situation, on my way to a generally positive one. And yet I still felt the tug of unresolved business.
But –– to my great credit –– I didn’t respond yet (and may not at all).
This is NOT my last stand –– not by a long shot!
