So yesterday was the launch of DOWNWARD DOG and (I think) it was a spectacular success.
Meaning, that I really have no idea what one is supposed to happen during the launch of an eBook.  It’s not something I’ve any cinematic references for or that frankly –– even though I know tons of authors –– no one I know directly has done.
I did see that the book miraculously appeared on amazon at midnight (although oddly, it says the release date was June 9th, not the 11th … which is weird).
And my VERY FAVORITE people did as requested and re-posted their iTunes pre-launch reviews on Amazon (a 2 minute task but one for which I am endlessly and truly appreciate.)
I posted and tweeted as you’re supposed to …
And my newsletter went out announcing not only the novel, but also the teleclass next Tuesday on yoga and sexuality inspired by it.  [Click on either link and sign up … it’s FREE and I promise it will be both fun AND sexy.]
And then in the afternoon, my first interview appeared online HERE, one I really like.
I also seemed to offend two (obviously not super-hip or super-sexy) ladies with my sexy book trailer via a friend’s FB posting + a young relative of mine seemed scandalized enough by my teleclass topic and/or video to drop off my mailing list.  I don’t care about the former –– in fact, I’m pleased I’m being provocative –– but the latter is worth one sigh.  (sigh).
My wine sponsor has started posting (that I have a wine sponsor is, no doubt, going to offend even more people … YAY!)
And today, more of the same –– interviews and postings etc.
Yet just as I typed this, I got the sweetest text from an old friend telling me how much she loves the book trailer video … and suddenly –– in a sea of emails and tweets and postings –– it all seemed vital and fresh and worthwhile once again.
OK … time to offend some more people;  I’ve officially launched!
