I bought this wine at Trader Joe’s because I really liked the label (I have a thing for Owls). I also like its name –– BABBLE –– and since I’m feeling slightly unfocused at the moment, I figure why not have it inspire my title.
Actually, a lady clerk at Trader Joe’s named McKenna asked me about it saying she was dying to try it –– she’s also someone who complimented my SHIFT LOCK necklace –– so I think we’re on the same page.
In any case, I have had a lovely day but one full of shifting plans. A Creative Coaching client needed to re-arrange our meeting and my publicist need the same, and with friends having bizness challenges and, of course, floods, I realized my schedule was actually quite malleable and adjusted accordingly.
So lunch at the Art Institute with Susan and Clark, followed by a beach walk with Susan and Belle, followed by a long nap and a publicity conference.
At the beach, Belle taught me a great lesson.
Her new game is dropping the stick when she needs a break from swimming and digging for it. After a few moments, she “remembers” that she can just pick it up and delivers it to me.
Only once or twice has she gotten all caught up and barked at me for help, but today she did an extended, helpless series of yelps, clearly wondering why I wasn’t coming to her rescue.
She’d totally forgotten that she’s the one who started this game, not me. These jams are entirely her own creation.
Such an amazing reminder about 99% of our problems ….
Anyway, I think I posted this once before but I love her passionate digging in this video –– and her leap and smile in the last few frames!
If you haven’t seen it, Enjoy …

There’s a Christian Music Video that pops up as one of the similar ones that we might enjoy after viewing Belle’s video on the youtube. How appropriate!
That’s our video, too.
My first thought when I saw the picture on this entry was “Oh, Edward got a tattoo!” LOL
Never — although I am super-passionate about the things I love, I honestly don’t feel I have the commitment required for a tattoo!
