Let’s face it: things are weird.
(And getting weirder).
Businesses I’ve been to only once (even just online) are telling me every single safety precaution they’re taking right now.
At the same time, some major wellness sites are somehow not addressing things at all, going about business as usual.
Banana Republic still sends me two emails a day about finding my “New Look for Spring.”
That’s a terrific idea…except it’s possible that only my dog Belle may end up seeing my latest fashion adventure.
(And honestly, that’s still kinda OK because Belle is herself extremely fashion-forward. Witness last year’s birthday party outfit):
Anyway, at the same time, I’m also getting tons of advice on how to turn this into a #ProductivityOpportunity.
Memes like how Isaac Newton formulated the theory of gravity while self-isolating during the bubonic plague make me feel especially guilty because all I want to do is nap.
It’s really hard to know the best strategy to keep yourself sane, never mind how you can truly be of service.
These days I’ve only been teaching live classes on the weekends (those are all canceled, of course).
My favorite part of teaching has always been the moments of connecting while elevating our collective energy.
And right now, I don’t want to just record another workout or meditation, even though I know how valuable those can be.
This week, a former student with a cool tech start-up invited me to contribute.
