Sunday was so serene.
Awoke and ran into Val and Jonah on their way to picking up Susan. We took a group detour into Acre.
Then –– of course –– jump-roping and burpees.
In the afternoon, went to the office space to do all the high-speed interweb stuff that had to be done.
And I completed a Bashar exercise I was resisting –– I don’t really know why –– but which ended up being awesome. Bashar wants us to literally “act out” what we want to create, rather than just tacking up photos on a vision board. And so in November Adrian and I “acted out” out an extensive and specific conversation about his decorating my new place in SF (which I don’t have yet.)
Our whole conversation was nonetheless very “close to the bone” of reality, in that he did the decor for my place in LA and we’ve done two LLS projects together. Everything about the acting out felt real and great and as Bashar suggested, I recorded it.
I don’t know why, but I hadn’t completed the exercise by listening to the recording. My role would now be to play the part of the audience member witnessing it in front of me. There’s something that’s so genius about that; it brings the idea of creating your reality to an entirely new, almost meditative level of observer and manifestor.
But on Sunday I did listen to the recording finally and it was a wonderful completion. The conversation felt as though it were really happening and completely grounded and concretized the experience and the visualization.
Oh Bashar –– I’ll never delay any of your crackpot suggestions ever again…
In the evening, I swung by the Lotus to take Roche’s class which I also truly enjoyed. She asked for feedback –– I guess she hasn’t read my blog entry about that –– and I will respond with some “senior teacher” comments … but really, as alway I just so loved being in a good class (once I found parking that is; parking seems to be San Francisco’s only flaw.)
That night, I watched the movie OUTSOURCED at Susan’s suggestion and totally loved it. So unexpectedly charming and winning in every way. I whole-heartedly recommend it.
And those ended a lovely Sunday.
Relaxed, mellow, complete with a yoga class and jumping rope and one crackpot exercise.
And by the way, in looking up the definition of OUTSOURCE:
outsource |ˈoutˌsôrs|
verb [ trans. ]
obtain (goods or a service) from an outside or foreign supplier, esp. in place of an internal source
What I was struck by –– given all my New Age parlance –– is the phrase “in place of an internal source.”
Sunday felt great because I was so aligned and happy and plugged into my “internal source,” or “Source” more accurately.
I haven’t decided yet, but maybe I’ll see if I can get the term “Insourced” trademarked ASAP and start trying it out as a catch-phrase for 2012.
