This morning began with a little exercise from everyone’s favorite alien Bashar of “acting out” –– more than just visualization, really carrying out things out, almost in a play-acting way (like a kid pretending to be a rock star singing into a hairbrush.) I won’t say more about my process, but that when I did it for my birthday last year, it produced extraordinary Magic … and when I practice it now, it’s really moving and inspiring and I can feel Niagara Falls of energy and emotion moving through me.
Then I ran to Artists and Craftsmen to pick up a new notebook I needed for the new spiritual book I’m reading (listening to a book marketing webcast on the way.)
And then straight to the UPS store to pick-up five copies of the novel in galley form, not from my publisher (still figuring out how/when we’re going out with it, based on momentum with the screenplay and my producers) but instead, ones I created on CreateSpace to aid my visualizations.
[There’s some usefulness to having the manuscript in a bound form versus a large stack of papers and/or PDF, although I have drastically reduced the utility of giving it to folks since I “imagined” some famous author endorsements on the back cover, along with one real one and one in process.]
After that I completed the transactions regarding a hefty sale of a bunch of my YOGA IN BED DVDs to a cruise line, but then my true vocation as babysitter called.
Off to watch over Jonah where I learned extensive information about the Skylanders — he just got a new one; my favorite is Hex –– and their various powers.
After that, more Harry Potter lore –– I have a lot of questions about the Death Eaters –– based not only on the Lego Version video game he was playing, but also on the book report project he had due.
I feel I’m forgetting other quasi-magical activities like a little yoga practice, a brief nap listening to Tibetan singing bowls, and probably something else too … [Channeled material?; a gifted notebook from Susan via Hay House?; Dan’s update on fresh Pleidian gossip?; or maybe just Belle’s stock market predictions.]
Anyway, I processed the DVD transaction (sales tax and all) and had a nice conversation with the good people at JP Morgan Chase about how it was premature to close Adrian and my design account after 3 months of inactivity (it took 2 seconds to spring it back into existence). And yes, I did listen to the marketing webinar and take notes, and yesterday I vaguely recall updating the press kit and press release for the London Book Fair in 2 weeks. So I suppose those do count as “realistic” activities.
Nonetheless, between all the visualizations and the Skylander and Harry Potter cosmologies, and the various props and acting out exercises … My tenuous grip on reality might be slipping.
Or maybe I’m just moving –– perhaps even developing flying magic like Hex or Harry on his broomstick –– into an even greater, more expansive reality entirely.
Thank God for that little Service Dog, Belle, keeping me grounded, particularly since she’s still a little shaky from a rough Sunday at the beach where a little too much salt water was consumed.
Nothing grounds you in this reality as simply as serving someone you love chicken broth and rice –– and walking them as needed at 2 and 6 am.

Is making money still of the imaginary realm to you? So sad.
A paypal transfer –– so now it’s in some Interweb Hyperspace.
And actually, the more deeply I explore the topic, the more “unreal” money itself seems. The further it moves away from shells and beads, the more completely abstract it becomes!
Although I was paid for my baby-sitting in cash –– that’s “real-er”!
