The Blue Angels, specifically.
They spooked Belle when they started at 1pm today, but then she recovered.
It was weird because she reacted way before I could remotely hear the sound of their roars and I wondered just what was frightening my little dog.
But then when Belle and I went to the beach at 3:50, their finale frightened her again –– so much so that for a few moments, she was afraid to go back into the water … something that has NEVER happened before.
Her recovery was swift, although her favorite stick of the last three months was a casualty of this “angelic” intrusion.
And in other Angel News …
I left the DMV for my allegedly final appointment for my new car (now that I am registered, it’s time to convert my former car’s parking permit to this car), somewhat incomplete because apparently they’ve run out of parking stickers.  I mean … SERIOUSLY!  [I have a new six month temp pass for my dashboard, however, and they promise to mail me the sticker as soon as they exist again.]  So I am more or less, done … but still feeling slightly empty-handed.
Post DMV and pre-beach, made it home in time for my FREE fifteen minute angel card reading with a new partner of an associate I like in the coaching realm.  And honestly … it was rather excellent.
A few angel cards were drawn.
I got some spot-on insights.
And, of course, I ended up having to rush to a New Age bookstore to find a Lemurian Quartz Crystal (don’t ask) for my next step angel practices, a crystal which I was cleansing in the ocean just as the Blue Angels were making their sonic assault on San Francisco which terrified Belle.
And now, an episode of Supernatural before bed for a final Good/Evil Angel drama before my crystal meditation clarifies everything in the Celestial Realm and Otherwise.
[And say what you will about Kathleen Battle, I love her unabashedly and just discovered this recording –– I am a fan of Fleming and Susan Graham –– of that wonderful little Hansel & Gretel prayer to 14 angels before bed, something I sing to Belle EVERY night.]

“Evenings, when I go to sleep,
Fourteen angels with me keep,
Two stand at my head,
Two at the foot of my bed,
Two are at my right hand,
Two are at my left hand,
Two in covers tuck me,
Two at morning wake me,
Two that point the way to rise
To heaven’s paradise.”
