So wise today that I decided to watch again THE LADY IN QUESTION … IS CHARLES BUSCH.
He is a genius –- and there’s a hint of this in the trailer for the documentary:
And it’s funny because with the novel/movie going out soon to the world, I’ve been asking myself “What’s next?” and oddly I am drawn to writing a play I’ve outlined (a bit) and had in mind for a wihle.
And of course, it’s unstrategic –– I should be writing on the same topics and expanding the brand –– and certainly another book or film script and NOT a play … and yet ….
This strikes me as BY FAR the most fun thing to do. [And Abraham would therefore 100% agree that I should completely follow that impulse and write next the thing that promises the most joy.]
That’s definitely my instinct.
And yet … to quote Charles Busch in the above trailer … “Do I trust it?”
