Rules don’t really apply anymore.
Woke up at 4 am and after reading for a bit, realized it was time to get to work.
Then, inexplicably, my website and email vanished completely around 6 am. Not a happy moment, including one friend on the Face Place instant messaging me to let know his email bounced back.
A panicked call to my server revealed that it wasn’t just me but a systems problem.
Yet still, couldn’t help but ask “If my website is down, do I even exist?”
Feeling a morning swim with Belle was the only answer, headed off to the beach, returning home to find website RESURRECTED but very much in need of a nap.
Some promotional work until a massive thunderstorm required me to take action re: Belle’s new fears.
I’m not sure if it’s because she’s older (which sometimes happens) or if the sounds are louder in Florida by the water or if it’s just rainier here, but she’s so NOT HAPPY when it’s stormy.
Rushed out mid-massive storm to get her a THUNDERSHIRT (thank you, Temple Grandin) and some Rescue Remedy at Whole Foods (which has never done a thing for me, but may be more effective if you’re 67 pounds).
Back in time for my encore call w/Amy Jo Goddard re: sex & yoga (soon will have link to the audio) and 5 blog interviews to complete, although at 11 pm I am already exhausted.
Thank God I had time to clean my keyboard today with Q-tips and a bit of rubbing alcohol during the thunderstorm.
At least my equipment has been refreshed, now that everything is moving further and further BEYOND.
