Really tired –– perhaps because I’ve been working until 3 am + I’ve quintupled my workouts –– and going to bed before midnight for once.
Time to reconnect with my bed.
Ran today for the first time in what feels like forever (although I realize I did a little bit in Florida 2 summers ago.)
I also had a great marketing consult with Emma Tiebens where I realized one or two very obvious omissions from my whole web presentation, all of which I think can be fixed in 20 minutes … but TOMORROW.
And, just by way of sharing, my friend Sarah posted this on the Face Place and it reminded me of how much I loved that Marina Abramovic documentary.
During her uber-intense affair with fellow performance artist Ulay, they lived wildly on the edge and when they felt things were over between them –– like most people do –– they decided to walk the Great Wall of China from opposite ends, meeting for one last big hug in the middle, and saying goodbye forever.
Anyway, at her 2010 MoMa retrospective Marina’s piece was ‘The Artist Is Present’ where she shared a minute of silence with each stranger who sat in front of her. As apparently a total surprise, Ulay arrived. [Worth sharing.]
