So today –– after the unexpectedly MAJOR response to my email blast –– I decided to literally put my money where my mouth (or at least my newsletter) is and literally manifest its metaphor.
Since I’d written about Stephen Covey’s Big Rocks, I did something I’ve thought about doing for a while.  Namely, I ordered a series of engraved rocks online HERE.
I chose a few in the 3 inch size and a few in the 1.5 inch –– to remind myself I’m good at prioritizing –– and I went for the unpolished ones.  I selected white and opted for no filler on the letters (just a clean engraving).
And now I’m LIVING for their arrival in 2 to 3 weeks.
Frankly, given that this will be a literal embodiment and reminder of my purpose here on earth, this online order may be the smartest purchase I’ve ever made.  [And far better than my idea of painting the nameless, scruffy rocks I have on hand.]
And I do love this small synchronicity:  the engraver returned my phone call about my order while I was watching 30 ROCK.  And since I recognized the Jersey number, I answered with the phone with, “Hello Rock People.”
The Universe does have a sense of humor.
