Deep into The Newsroom (better late than never) and wondering why it feels like I haven’t seen Jeff Daniels in anything since Purple Rose of Cairo…
Finished a bureaucratic monstrosity this morning –– filling out forms requiring me to more or less minimalize my income; aka the first time I’ve felt like Mitt Romney in a long, long while –– and concluded (after a mind-cleansing jump-rope session, followed by a wonderful conversation with my agent about our pending book deal) that the only sensible course of action was to take off with Belle and Sarah for Half Moon Bay to clear our heads.
And now home to celebrate the rain –– and continue Belle and my unending Mission to Civilize.
