I love that saying from Abraham Hicks, “The Better It Gets, the Better it Gets.”
And never has this been proven to be more true than in my triumphant lampshade purchase on Saturday night.
And of course, I have “Before” and “After” PROOF (plus, are you getting that the “before” is coming apart and a semi-fire hazard?).
All I can say is that the new shade has a lot of PIZAZZ.
In the morning, had to deal with some PR stuff for something I’m dying to announce … but not quite yet.
Then a potential new client call before I drove Andrea Lake to the airport.
Fortunately, we had more than enough fun chatting so that even when we were accidentally detained by the crowds entering the Giant’s game, time pretty much flew and I got her to the Triumphant Terminal 2 –– it actually is fantastic –– in plenty of time.
Speaking of Time, I’m so glad I unplugged everything for a full hour today –– except for some Tibetan Singing Bowls –– just to organize and plan my entire week. There’s so many things afloat before I leave on Friday for the National Science Writer’s Conference –– I’m moderating a panel –– and before Adrian arrives on Thursday to watch over Birthday Belle.
For, to modify Abraham’s quote a bit: The Busier It Is, The Busier It Gets.
