Today was Belle’s birthday and those were my gift suggestions for her –– bacon and cash –– to all her Facebook fans.
And indeed, when I had breakfast with Andrea Lake, I bought Belle her own side order of Birthday Bacon.
After dropping Andrea off, I had the day unscheduled –– no clients at all –– and so laundry and organizing and replacing a lampshade and catching up with more shows on the WB before watching MAGIC MIKE.
Tomorrow, I’m really looking forward to diving back into a stack of index cards for the new play + I do feel that Belle deserves a special birthday beach trip –– and I did give her some excellent rosemary chicken today along with all the bacon –– but I think she understood that after three or four client appointments every day this week, it was really time for us both to just stay put at home, relaxing with our new lampshade, and watching Channing Tatum writhe around.
[He actually is an astonishing dancer and athlete, and no one is more astonished than me that now –– after this and 21 JUMP STREET –– I guess I’m sorta a fan…Who saw that coming?]
