So Worth It/Never Done

This morning I awoke to walk Belle and, after a very deliberate meditation –– I re-started twice –– took little Belle to the beach.
Oddly, there was some kind of martial arts thing happening plus a pug convention (only a picture of the former).
Val called and I realized it was definitely time for a new pedicure (see the results above.)
I have to say I received perhaps the VERY BEST hug of my life from Jonah who ran and grabbed me and I swirled him around.  It was so spontaneous and complete.  [And he really only showed up just to hug me;  he would have gotten a pedicure but he had soccer practice.]
Returning home, I tweaked the SK(W) video and uploaded the high-res version.
And then, even though I was feeling a little lazy, went off to Bikram which was so worth it.  [Honestly, I have never once said, “Wow –– going to that yoga class was such a mistake.”]
Walking home, stumbled into a Modern Eden, an awesome gallery space’s opening reception and chatted with the owner/artist for a bit, Bradley a bit.
At home, I watched ARBITRAGE with Richard Gere which was somehow just released/reviewed and yet available on itunes and found myself appropriately entertained.  [Fun to see an actor I once cast in a reading or two as a cop, now promoted to playing the junior D.A. in the movie.]
And tomorrow … 2 clients + a wedding to plan, and with the eve of Rosh Hashanah, I feel time to begin anew the new project for multiple reasons.  Chief among these is that I love the Abraham quote about the best way to sell one book is to begin another –– and I think energetically that’s true, although in this case, I think it’s the play I’m really going to begin.  Rather than sitting around waiting for responses from editors, publishers, agents, and movie stars –– I’d rather be diving in to create something new.
Anyway, my work is never done (which, as Abraham would also point out, is a VERY good thing.)
