Lately my spam count is off the hook for this blog, but all of them are attempted fake postings based on my “Sadly, Over the Hill” post about Colin Farrell. I just don’t understand why that one post has somehow triggered endless obvious attempted spam comments. Are spammers obsessed with Colin Farrell? Is there some keyword that’s triggered the avalanche? Is it because it’s my most commented on posting? Hmmmmm….
In need of a short, charming documentary, I watched UNZIPPED again today. I love documentaries that end in triumph, and Isaac Mizrahi’s arc from failed collection, to starting his new one, to realizing his new concept has just been used by Gaultier a week before, to a fantastic final show does deliver perfect featherweight joy.
I also particularly enjoyed watching him walk through NYC slush which looks just so gorgeous in grainy black and white but is so NOT FUN in reality.
(Plus, let’s be honest, 90s supermodels really were the best.)
I do feel some major shifting thanks to all my Neagle and other work. Chief among my great innovations is that I am now beginning every day (non-reactively) creating and center. It’s fascinating that it’s so challenging for me not to check email immediately on awakening, but I’m hoping it’s an addiction that’s abates with time.
Even if it’s just cutting out a few pages from the script and doing a 15 minute meditation it makes all difference for the rest of my day.
I did spend an extensive amount of time reacting today to an “unusual” offering — I can’t really reveal all since I am trying to be as discrete as Bates at DOWNTON ABBEY — but it was enlightening to me to see how I was able to dissect my various resistances in record time.
Finally, my sympathy pains have also completely dissipated — which is a good thing since tomorrow I begin the intensified workout that’s necessary if we’re really going to do some of the yoga offerings we’ve got planned for 2012.
